Financial support: scholarships and bursaries for 2012

We've introduced financial support worth more than £1.8 million to widen access to Goldsmiths and help our students reach their full potential. This is one of the most generous packages of financial support of any London university. It consists of scholarships and bursaries, including:

• 65 x £6,000 to bright students from low income households
• £1,000 to anyone who achieves AAB in their A-levels or equivalent (new for March 2012; find out more)
• 10 x free places for students from Lewisham (covering tuition fees for three years; these scholarships are worth £27,000 each)
• 10 x £3,000 for students over the age of 25
• 4 x £4,500 to students with a disability
• 5 x £4,000 to students who are care leavers
• 5 x £7,000 for students on computing- or design-based degrees
• 33 x £1,000 for students on selected computing degrees
• 1 x £12,000 for a BMus Popular Music student
