Skills and Attributes of a 3D Graduate
While you are at university, you will not only be gaining new knowledge, but you will be acquiring all sorts of new skills, attributes and it is likely that your own personal beliefs and assumptions will be challenged. That is what makes university study so special.
This may sound obvious to you, but it is quite possible to get through your programme with a good grade, and although you have clearly used your skills and acquired new ones to do so, you won’t necessarily have thought-about or realised what these skills are – let alone written them down.
Skills, attributes, knowledge and other abstract nouns
When you come to leave Goldsmiths and complete application forms or take job interviews you will be required to do more than just talk about your specific achievements. You will have to master the art of talking in abstracts; about things such as the skills, knowledge and attributes you learned. 3D Graduate gives you the opportunity to recognise, reflect and record these as you progress through your time at university which we hope will be of great beneficial when you do set out to build your ideal career.
By working engaging with your studies, working through the 3D Graduate exercises and getting the most out of the opportunities available to you at Goldsmiths we would hope you would acquire many of the following skills and personal qualities.
