2010-2013 Dr Casey High has been awarded a three-year grant from the Hans Rausing Endangered Languages Documentation Programme (ELDP) at the School for Oriental and African Studies, University of London. The grant is for a collaborative project to document the Waorani language in Amazonian Ecuador.
2009-2012 Dr Alpa Shah – awarded a British Academy UK-South Asia Partnership Scheme for a Project on Inequality and Affirmative Action in South Asia.
2006-2011 Dr Catherine Alexander - 'The Waste of the World', funded by the ESRC. Consortium with Sheffield (Geography, Engineering), Durham (Geography), UCL (Anthropology).
Ongoing Dr Victoria Goddard - ‘Managing the Transition from A-Level to University, with Particular Reference to Anthropology’ funded by the LSTN Centre for Learning and Teaching
Ongoing Prof. Keith Hart’s Memory Bank hosts his current research interests.
Ongoing Dr Alpa Shah has been awarded a Wenner Gren Richard Carley Hunt Fellowship to write her book 'In the Shadows of the State: Indigenous Politics in Jharkhand, India'.
