Handedness, personality and paranormal belief/experience
NB: You need to be over 18 to participate in this research.
Background to the study
This study is part of an MSc student project in cognitive neuroscience and explores possible links between the fields of neuropsychology, personality and paranormal belief.
Have you ever thought that there are differences between “right- and left-brained” people? Or maybe you’ve heard that right-handed and left-handed people have different personality characteristics?
In the past, researchers have shown that there are differences between handedness groups in terms of paranormal belief and tendency to report paranormal experiences. This current study will look at how a person’s hand preference is related to their personality and how this might relate to scores on measures of paranormal belief and experience.
Details about participating:
This study involves spending about 30 minutes filling out four online questionnaires and some questions about your demographics (age, gender, etc.). If you can, choose a time to complete the questionnaires when you will be free from distraction. The study will close when the required number of respondents has been reached so if you wish to participate, you will need to do so as soon as possible.

If you’re 18 years of age or older, and would like to contribute to new and exciting research, your involvement would be greatly appreciated.
