Maria Fusco

Maria Fusco is Director of Art Writing in the Department of Art at Goldsmiths, University of London where she leads MFA in Art Writing, and supervises MPhil/PhD candidates.

Maria is a Belfast-born writer, her research is concerned with fiction as critical practice, embodying and exploring modalities of production including: the fictive, critical & theoretical writing; editing, and independent publishing. These varied registers are mutual in nature, informing each other to build an expansive approach to what writing ‘might be’ with a contemporary art arena, and how it may manifest.
