Bessemer Grange Primary School
This year’s Big Draw at Bessemer Grange Primary school had a science theme. We linked our science topics to drawing. Some children were given the choice of materials to work with and the freedom to draw in their own way. Other classes were given objects to draw and specific materials to use. All children took part from year 1 – 6. Each class was given time in the hall to work on their drawings so they had the space to work collaboratively or independently. We used text art, chalk and charcoal, drawing pencil, oil pastels and felt tip pen.
