Event overview
Goldsmiths, University of London - the UK’s best university for the study of design* - opens its doors from 15-18 September for its second annual design festival.
Last year, the Department of Design hosted a week of free events, including the 2015 MA degree show, exhibitions, guest lectures, workshops, and performances, drone-building, inflatables, artistic nudity, activism, craft beer and poetry readings.
The Goldsmiths Design Festival returns in 2016 as part of the London Design Festival.
Graduating projects from the MA class of 2016 will be on show, with a private view on the evening of Thursday 15 September. The MA show will then be open to the public throughout the day from Friday - Sunday, with former students and staff from the Department of Design using the venue on Friday night to reconnect and remember their Goldsmiths years at a private party.
All Goldsmiths Design Festival events on Saturday and Sunday are free and open to all. A full programme, including workshops and performances, will be available soon.
