Event overview
Goldsmiths Centre for Feminist Research presents US writer & poet Eileen Myles as part of a free public event on queer poetry and literature.
Myles is the author of nineteen books including I Must Be Living Twice: New & Selected Poems, & a 2015 reissue of Chelsea Girls. A prominent figure on the NY literary underground since the '70s, they have established themselves as one of "the most restless intellects in contemporary literature" (Dennis Cooper). They are the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, an Andy Warhol/Creative Capital Arts Writers grant, & four Lambda Book Awards.
They will be joined by poet & writer Jay Bernard and Isabel Waidner.
All welcome.
