Event overview
Media Forum, Thursdays 5-7pm
Sarah Sands, Goldsmiths Alumni, editor of the Evening Standard and forthcoming editor of BBC's Today programme, talks about her career, the job of editing London's newspaper and her new role.
Its a great opportunity to ask her about her career path, the controversy over the Standard's apparent support for Zac Goldsmith during the Mayoral campaign, how a free newspaper can be made to work, its campaigns over things like literacy and poverty and how she will enjoy working with John Humphries and the BBC commitment to balance.
All welcome, no need to register.
