Event overview
Monday night talks arranged by the new Events and Experience Management MA at ICCE.
Antony Robbins has spent the past eight years at the Museum of London where he was, until recently, the director of communications. He was in charge of the organisation’s brand and audience development, communications strategy and its digital presence. Antony was hired in 2009 to reposition the museum as it opened up its £23m Galleries of Modern London. Since then the museum has doubled its visitor numbers and connected with a more contemporary and diverse audience of creative Londoners, making the organisation more visible and more relevant to their day-to-day lives.
Before working at the museum, Antony spent most of his career leading PR teams in the world of international relief and development. He was director of communications at the Overseas Development Institute, policy adviser at the UK government’s Department for International Development and head of communications at aid agency CARE International. This work took him to Sub-Saharan Africa, South-East Asia and the Balkans.
Antony Robbins is also a freelance communications consultant, speaker, an experienced broadcaster and, maybe most importantly, a born and bred Londoner.
