The Deptford and New Cross Film Festival makes its third and final stop on campus this evening with a screening of several short films.

Local Shorts, a series shot in the surrounding community, follows Wednesday’s cult 60s film Brand X and Sunday’s modern silent film Arthur Sleep onto the list of festival events hosted here at Goldsmiths.

The 10-day celebration of the silver screen, which launched last Friday with a party at the iconic Big Red Pizzeria, sees 25 events crammed in before the highlights reel flickers back at the bus on Sunday 5 May.

Local Shorts: Short films from your neighbourhood will be screening at the Goldsmiths Cinema, Room 185, Richard Hoggart Building, on Wednesday 1 May at 7:30pm (doors 7pm).
