Evening Concert with Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Stefan Ostersjo and Matt Wright

The Vietnamese dan tranh performer Nguyen Thanh Thuy from Hanoi is a leading representative of traditional Vietnamese music. Starting out with traditional solo music for her instrument, in the second half of the concert she is joined by Stefan Ostersjo on Vietnamese electric guitar and Matt Wright, electronics. Here, idioms from traditional music are brought in dialogue with contemporary modes of expression.
