Event overview
U3A Lunchtime Lectures Supported by Goldsmiths
Emeritus Professor of Anthropology Brian Morris will be giving a lecture entitled 'What it means to be human'. The philosopher Immanuel Kant defined anthropology as the study of what it means to be human. Drawing on his experiences in Malawi, Brian will discuss people's conceptions of the human subject - as a driving (human) psychological (self) and social being (person).
All staff and students welcome.
