Event overview
Collaborative workshop, public interest report launch & reception.
Debt is the defining feature of the contemporary British economy.
Join us to explore how indebtedness — of individuals and households — is a political problem, despite being ignored by the political and policy elite.
Based on a sixth-month pilot study, this report documents how civil society and ordinary people do what policy-makers have failed to: acknowledge indebtedness is a problem that needs solutions.
This gathering represents an opportunity to more closely examine the causes and consequences of household indebtedness and the ways we can all work together to think creatively about how to solve it.
Come to meet with fellow actors trying to craft alternatives to the Debt Economy. All welcome.
