Event overview
This early evening concert is presented by Goldsmiths alumnus Martin Gaughan, features the world premiere of his ‘Night’s Black Bird’ nocturnes for solo harp, with guests Xin Xin Liu (viola) and Chloe Bradshaw (flute)
This concert explores the theme of darkness for solo harp, performed by Mary Reid. This will include works by Roussel, Murray Schafer & the world premiere of “Night's Black Bird” by alumnus Martin Gaughan. Mary will also be joined by her trio for a chamber work by Bruce Broughton.

Hosted by the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, this series of free lunchtime and rush-hour concerts in the grand surroundings of Deptford Town Hall, are open to all staff and students at Goldsmiths, as well as members of the public.
