A guest lecture from Professor Zhou Xian, Nanjing University
This talk will examine the developing trends in Chinese political communication over the past decades, emphasising the mutual relationship between media culture and social development in China.
It focuses on the interactive process of media culture concerning the Communist Part of China (CPC), the media, and the public, by examining three key issues: 1) the commercialisation of the median culture; 2) the limited freedom and transparency of information; 3) the rise of grassroots media.
