Event overview
Join us on Weds 10 Feb 2016 at 4.30pm to hear about how Ovalhouse uses arts participation to improve the lives and prospects of children, young people and their families. Please contact us if you would like to attend.
The Ovalhouse creative methodology is based on its principles of equality and social justice and combines techniques of role-play, forum theatre, storytelling and physical theatre to engage young people emotionally, intellectually and imaginatively.
Your chance to hear from Ovalhouse practitioners and CUCR researchers as they share the findings of a key report on the use of arts to achieve greater learning engagement. Not to be missed by anyone interested in or involved with improving young people’s learning prospects or participatory arts practice, whether you’re a commissioner, practitioner or student (refreshments available).
This event is part of a series of CUCR events on art and governmentality.
Please RSVP by 8th February to cat.lee@ovalhouse.com.
