Experience Works! Part Time Work and Volunteering Fair
Are you looking for part time employment or voluntary opportunities? If so, come along to our Experience Works! Fair we are holding on the 20th October 2010 from 12 - 3pm.
The Experience Works! Fair is our annual careers fair at which
students can meet, and potentially secure employment with employers for
any vacancies they may have/anticipate. With an emphasis on part-time,
temporary/vacation, and voluntary work for current students, the event
is a fantastic opportunity for employers and students to come together.
Previous year's events have been a great success, and we have had
plenty of positive feedback from employers and students.
The Goldsmiths Careers Service is committed to encouraging students
at our University to develop the skills that employers look upon
favourably - team working, leadership, punctuality, communication
skills, initiative, professionalism, for example. We know that those
students that take on part time employment whilst they are studying
develop these skills and are able to demonstrate this on their CV to
future employers.
The fair is free to attend, and Goldsmiths will
provide a list of employers that will be attending the fair closer to
the time. Don't get left behind when your graduate; come along and
find an opportunity that suits you as experience really works!
