Caribbean and African Researchers' Network

CARN is a UK-based scholarly network concerned with promoting dialogue between researchers focused on Caribbean and African Studies (broadly defined) in communication with the wider community and at all levels of society.

The Network serves the crucial purpose of creating a platform for scholars working within Caribbean and African Studies – including the diaspora – to advance understanding of the shared fields through networking, research collaboration, the development and the dissemination of research at all levels including that of policy decision-making.

Crucial to this process is an Annual conference which will include student researchers in the field.

The Network is an interdisciplinary organisation that welcomes members who are actively involved in research relating to Caribbean, African and Diaspora Studies.
