Department of Corporate Governance & Information Management

The Department is directly responsible for many aspects of corporate governance, while sharing responsibility for others with a range of other support departments. It both manages the committee system as a whole, and services number of specific committees, including Council, Finance & Resources Committee, Audit Committee, Nominations Committee and Information Management and Systems Committee.

The Head of Corporate Governance & Information Management is the College's Data Protection Officer and Freedom of Information Officer.

The Department is responsible for providing information about governance arrangements within Goldsmiths. A new, web-based approach to this role was developed during 2005-06, and was more fully launched with the College's new committee system from beginning of the 2006-07 academic year.
