New collaborative Research Project
In collaboration with the Freie Universitat Berlin, the CLLCE has just been awarded a research grant by the AHRC/DFG for the project 'West End and Friedrichstrasse: A Comparative Study of Popular Theatre in London and Berlin 1890-1930'. Principal investigators are the Centre Director, Professor Len Platt and Professor Paul Nolte, from the Freie Universitat. The project will take place over the next two years and has a value of £248,802.

New book "Exploring Latin Piano" by John Crawford and Tim Richards, published by Schott.
Tim Richard and John Crawford are longstanding tutors at Goldsmiths having taught in the PACE Department for many years.
Both are very well known players on the UK and International Jazz and Latin scene. John Crawford teaches Latin piano
and Latin rhythm courses, and Tim Richards teaches jazz and blues piano courses.
