Michael has lectured at Goldsmiths since 2016, and has also run workshops and training courses at Electronic Arts and Sony.
With an architectural background, he has worked in the industry for over 20 years. He has covered most art production roles and several design roles but have mainly worked as an art director for most of his career.
He has art directed big AAA console titles for Criterion Games, EA and Sony and also freelanced and worked in the mobile games sector. The majority of titles He has worked on have been racing titles (eg, the Burnout series of games), a few Need For Speed titles but also many casual games and Eyetoy.
He has a passion for coaching, brought about by many years art directing games teams, empowering them and helping them achieve results greater than the sum of their parts
