The Great Hall

The Great Hall is one of the foremost acoustic venues in London and is frequently used by orchestras. Originally a parade ground, it was created in 1891 and based on a design by J.W. Penfold.

It is an incredibly versatile space which has hosted a multitude of events, including live television broadcasts, debates, recitals, concerts, graduation ceremonies, meetings, conferences and exhibitions. It can seat up to 580 people in the auditorium and 140 in the balcony.

 

 

Refectory & Balcony

Close to the Great Hall, the split-level Refectory offers a large space for lunches, dining and exhibitions. It has a video wall, free seating, and sits over 250 for a self-service buffet.

The Balcony has been recently refurbished as a social learning space, and is available to book in the evenings during term time (subject to availability).

Cinema

Cinema

The cinema can seat up to 101 people and is perfect for presentations and lectures. It has a PA system, screen, projector and computer.
