Accommodation for Goldsmiths Students
Rooms are available to Goldsmiths Students in Batavia Mews and Raymont Hall, and for students booking for six weeks (42 nights) or more.
All student rooms are provided in the same condition as a hall place during the academic year - i.e. we do not supply bed linen, towels or toiletries, nor do we provide cooking utensils. Students are responsible for maintaining cleanliness within their own rooms and the communal areas, although communal spaces will be cleaned daily Monday - Friday.
There are answers to various Frequently-Asked Questions on this site, and all bookings are subject to terms and conditions which are included in the booking form or available in hard-copy format from Loring Management Centre Reception, Raymont Hall and Surrey House residence offices.
To book, students will need to make a reservation online (available from January 2012).
There is a minimum stay of one week in Raymont Hall and six weeks in Batavia Mews.

Situated in the middle of a busy south-east London suburb, Batavia Mews is divided into blocks of seven or twenty rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. All rooms are equipped with a telephone for receiving incoming calls, and can usually be used to make outgoing calls on purchase of a telephone card. However there are no Internet facilities. Many rooms have a sink and vanity unit, and some boast attractive views of the London skyline.
Kitchen facilities include ovens, microwave and kettle (but not toasters) alongside shared fridges and freezers. Please note that cutlery and crockery are not provided, and that only communal areas will be cleaned.
A Security Officer is on duty from 6pm - 6am nightly. Launderette facilities are available at nearby Loring Hall.

Raymont Hall is located in Brockley, a residential area approx. 2 miles from the College’s New Cross campus. Brockley station is five minutes’ walk from the residence, with frequent direct trains to London Bridge (7m), London Charing Cross (18m), Canary Wharf (13m) and the City.
Brockley boasts a number of small restaurants and shops, and there are several bars and pubs within walking distance.
