Research Interests

Dominik Kremerskothen studied architecture at the Architectural Association, London, as well as at the Technical University in Munich.  He currently works as a freelance architect in London and is particularly interested in the narrative structure of space and its emotional aspects.  Dominik has previously been a publisher in Hamburg and recently designed The Most Beautiful House in the World. He works as an architect on a number of projects in London and Germany and has taught at the Summer School of the Architectural Association.  He has also worked on a number of film- and stage-set designs. He is one of the co-editors of the architectural production sexymachinery in London; hence he believes there are ideas in feelings and is interested in anything well told.

Nevertheless he does compete with others in urban planning competitions, thinks up one or another environments for psychosis [at 4.48] and can be persuaded to talk in front of an academic audience about his work. Most recently he worked on the border of space and light before it turns into memory. If there is nothing else to do he likes to take the leading role in ‘Master and Apprentice - On Site’
