Professor Isabelle Stengers
Professor of Philosophy, Universite Libre de Bruxelles
Research Interests
Isabelle Stengers is Professor of Philosophy at the Free University of Brussels and a Distinguished Member of the National Committee of Logic and the History of Philosophy of Sciences in Belgium . She is author of numerous books and articles on the history of science, the theory of systems, and psychoanalysis, including most recently Penser Avec Whitehead. She received the prize for Philosophy at the Académie Française in 1993.
