Research Interests

Transitional justice, especially in relation to cultural processes and concepts of peace, with specific interests in Northern Ireland and Argentina; Contemporary social and cultural theory, with specific interests in the work of Michel Foucault and Hannah Arendt; Ethics and esthetics; Feminist theory and the politics of difference; Performativity and its critique.

Recent research projects include Visual Art and Justice in Transitional Argentina (post 1983) (AHRC 2011-12) and 'Justice Demands' and the Negotiated Process of Art-Work Production in Argentina and Northern Ireland (AHRC 2006-7).
