A Global Community of Urban Scholars

Over the past five years we have set up connections with a network of urbanist scholars from all over the world. In recent times we have conducted collaborative research projects with people in Germany, Sweden and the United States. We have also had visitors from the United States, Norway, Denmark and Sweden who have used CUCR as a base for their research and writing.

This international aspect is reflected in the range of people who are associated with CUCR. The number of scholars associated with the Centre is growing all the time and they are drawn from many countries.

In this sense we have combined rootedness and connection with the communities in which we are placed with establishing an intellectual milieu that is profoundly international.
