'New Life for Paddington' was a community led SRB regeneration programme in North Westminster. The programme was developed through a series of voluntary and community sector initiatives brought together by the Paddington Development Trust. There are four main themes in the programme: education and young people, employment and enterprise, health and community safety and capacity building. This was a challenging programme which raised key research issues relating to developing the potential for community led regeneration and neighbourhood renewal more widely.

The programme was evaluated by a team at the Centre (initially in conjunction with the Public Policy Research Unit at Queen Mary). The evaluation strategy was developed with key local organisations and emphasised both quantitative and qualitative methods.
