Gabrielle Bendiner-Viani
Gabrielle, photographer and artist, is at present working on her PhD at the City University of New York. She is also a curator and environmental psychologist. She has worked on projects in London, Buenos Aires, San Francisco and New York and has exhibited at institutions including the Centre for Architecture New York, MIT and UC Berkeley. As co-director of Buscada projects she has curated and designed several major exhibitions on urban history. Gabrielle is also co-founder of the CUCR/Photofusion Urban Encounters Conference which was run through the Centre in 2008, and this will be continuing in collaboration with the Tate under the co-direction of Gabrielle in 2009.
