Glenn Mottershead – Film Maker  & Visual Sociologist

Film Maker, Visual Sociologist and co-founder of Small Fry Films Glenn Mottershead is a graduate of Goldsmiths College, London. Having studied for a Master of Arts and passed with Merit in Photography and Urban Cultures in 2009, he continues to integrate his sociological academia with telling strong structured film-narratives.

Glenn originates from a photographic, 16mm and 35mm film making background, working on drama, documentary and TV commercial out-put. This experience has gained him a strong understanding of the many essential elements that make up strong film narrative. The result of this is a resource that continues to capture the audiences’ imagination through his films. Glenn has made films for The Times, BBC, City of London, BSkyB, Greenpeace, Rothschild Bank, Refugee Council and many more always implementing his knowledge obtained from his work within the Centre for Urban and Community Research.
