Dr Keith Kahn-Harris
Dr Keith Kahn-Harris is a research associate at the CUCR, working on two projects funded by the Rothschild Foundation:
- 'A
Mapping Study of Efforts to Combat Antisemitism, Racism and Xenophobia
at the Local, Communal and Grassroots Levels in Europe' (with Roger
Hewitt)
- 'From Security to Insecurity: Jewish Communal Leadership in Changing Times' (with Ben Gidley). Research project on Jewish community and British multiculturalism, funded by Rothschild Foundation Europe, 2007-8.
Keith is involved in the development of a large international research bid on youth and enculturation in minority communities coordinated by Geraldine Bloustein of University of South Australia. His is co-editing a book on religion and popular music in Europe with Thomas Bossius of Gothenburg University and Andreas Hager of Abo Akademi, Finland. He is employed as a consultant to author a Home Office funded report on Jews and Interfaith Dialogue for the Jewish Board of Deputies. He is also the convenor of the project New Jewish Thought (www.newjewishthought.org).
