Dr Kalbir Shukra BA PhD
Kalbir is a lecturer in Community and Youth Work in the Department of Professional and Community Education (PACE). Her research interests are concerned with the development of black politics in contemporary Britain.
Kalbir was part of the research teams for the ESRC project Democratic Governance and Ethnic Minority Participation, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation project 'Fluid Communities, Solid Structures' and The Camberwell Advocacy Project.
