Concerts
The Electronic Music Studio has it's own sound diffusion rig consisting of 8 x Genelec 8050A Active Monitors, 1 x Genelec 7060B LSE Subwoofer, and an Apple Mac computer running Digidesign ProTools LE with Digi 001 hardware (8 channel output), used in conjunction with the Dept. of Music's Allen & Heath GL2800 live sound mixer and outboard equipment rack (incl. 2 x PreSonus ACP88 8 channel Compressor/Limiter/Gate).
Other resources
The majority of equipment listed below (aside from the more expensive studio mics and vintage synthesizers) are also available for performance use, subject to approval.
The
EMS houses a veteran Roland
System 100M modular synthesizer system (circa 1980), comprising:

Students taking studio-based course modules may book out M-Audio MicroTrack II & 24/96 digital recorders (with 2 or 4Gb CompactFlash memory), supplied with either OKM binaural stereo or Audio Technica AT-822 stereo microphones, for use off-site.
