Equivalent or lower qualifications (ELQs)
If you have existing higher education qualifications this may affect your eligibility for student support including access to tuition fee loans.
The ELQ policy doesn't apply to postgraduate research courses (MRes, MPhil/PhD programmes), and for 2012 entry some taught programmes are likely to be exempt.

Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
If you're assessed as eligible for DSA having enrolled on your programme, the higher rate of tuition fee will not apply.
