Making Payment - Accommodation Fees

Paying by direct debit

If your accommodation fee is over £150 you can pay in 3 monthly installments by direct debit which will be taken at the beginning of each term (October, January and May). Direct debit payments can only be made from a bank account with a UK sort code. Some building society accounts may not accept direct debits. If in doubt please contact your bank or building society before completing the mandate. You must return a completed direct debit mandate by end of September, your first payment will be debited in October.

Once completed, please return the direct debit mandate, ensuring that you have entered the student reference number. If the account holder is not the student, please complete the form attached to the mandate. Please note that any default in payment will result in immediate liability for payment of outstanding fees in full. Installments are only available by Direct Debit; no other installment facilities are available to you.

You will receive notification of the payment plan at least 10 days before payment is taken. It is your responsibility to check the first payment is fully paid.

Payment by cheque

Cheques must be in UK pounds sterling, and need to be made payable to "Goldsmiths College". Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Please print your name and student reference number on the reverse of the cheque.

If your card is not issued in the UK, you will be subject to a conversion fee or charge by your card company related to the value of transaction. If you choose to pay in your own currency, this transaction will be based on Reuters Wholesales Interbank exchange rate + 3% international conversion margin to replace the charge from your card company.

Please note if you choose this method of payment you must send us a copy of your banks confirmation of transfer letter as evidence of the transaction. Please fax a copy of your bank's confirmation of transfer to 0207 917 7269 quoting your invoice number or giving your full name and student number.
