Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy

Realising our ambitions for Learning, Teaching and Assessment

To realise our main aim to provide our students with an enriching learning experience that is concerned with knowledge, skills and self-discovery through creative, radical and rigorous learning practice, we need to make clear our intentions across a number of areas. We outline these in the remainder of this section. Underpinning the principles and objectives identified below are our commitments to:

  • adopt a student-centered approach;
  • ensure, in line with our equal opportunities policies, that our approaches to learning teaching and assessment are accessible to all.

The following sections are themed to make the presentation of principles and objectives more accessible but none are free-standing and each should be read in relation to the others.
