Welcome to Goldfish Spring 2009
This is archived content. Click here for the current issue of Goldfish.
Goldfish includes writing from 39 authors studying on the MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths. The pieces of work displayed here include poetry, life writing, short stories (including flash fiction) and novel excerpts.
While most Goldfish authors write in a variety of genres, here they were asked to submit a piece for just one category.
The subject matter covered in Goldfish ranges from murder, vampirism and sexual intrigue to building sites, office life, and family relationships. The styles are equally varied, including minimalism, experimentalism and lyrical prose and poetry. Whatever your own tastes, there's something in here to suit you – so dive in!
You can find out about each author by reading the biographies – many authors have given their email addresses so that you can contact them.
