Wood
We have a wood only recycling skip located on campus.It is painted green, and located next to the rubbish compactor in front of Lockwood Annexe 5 (Hut F) (Hut F is the double height portacabin towards the rear of campus).
- Please place any type of wood (MDF, Chipboard, Laminate) only in this skip.
- No more wood is to be placed in black bags, compactors or other general skips for envinronmental reasons.
- For large items of wood (broken furniture etc) please arrange with the porters for them to take the item to the wood skip.
- Where practical, try to remove as much non-wood from the items of wood before placing in the skip.
