Anyi Yu

Anyi Yu Anyi Yu is currently a postgraduate student in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths. Her main study area is the fashion industry.

Having done research about the creative industries during her MA study, Anyi is deeply impressed by the accumulation of creativity and culture in London, especially in fashion industry. She always believes that fashion is the most forward and developed industry of the creative industries. Fashion is always fluid, as shown by the collaborations between different sectors of the industry and its connections with other fashion industries all around the world, it is both challenging and rewarding to be a participant in this industry. Moreover, the forward-thinking style of Goldsmiths has inspired her to embrace new possibilities and has sharpened her critical thinking. She is capable of researching and mapping out new cultural phenomena, which is contributing to her understanding of the fashion industry.

Her previous work experience includes:

Working as an intern journalist and marketing specialist while studying her BA course in Shanghai which developed her ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Her work experience on the MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths is leading her towards working in Fashion Management.
