Iris Musel

Iris Musel has worked with several theatre and dance companies, where she has had the chance to learn very diverse skills, ranging from technical operations to business management. She enjoys being able to combine her passion for performance and art with her aptitude for management.
Working as Producer with Vocal Motions Elastic Theatre, Iris was an integral part on raising the company’s professional profile.
Working on the Big Chill Festival and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, within different capacities, has increased her appreciation of working on large-scale events.

With an international background, Iris is concentrating on setting up an international network of artists from various backgrounds. She is interested in combining interdisciplinary art forms with a special research interest into non-traditional exhibition and performance spaces.
The MA in Creative and Cultural Industry is allowing Iris to develop her expertise within arts management and business modelling, as well as giving her the opportunity to engage with like minded people, whilst still sharpening her critical thinking, by constantly looking at ideas and issues from different perspectives.
This in turn, is providing Iris with the inspiration, drive and confidence to embark on many new and exciting creative projects, as well as the tools to realize these projects in an entrepreneurial capacity.
