Leo Merz
Leo is interested in online DIY culture as a global phenomenon that subverts mainstream marketing strategies by disrupting traditional ways of production and consumption through decentralised, self- directed processes. This includes online music distribution as well as independent publishing and internet based art and curatorship.In 2003, Leo co-founded the weekly FM radio show _Hyperground, where he is regularly DJing electronic music. He is also highly involved in the management of the netlabel Upitup Records, where some of his acid trax have been released. Since finishing his studies in Communication Design (New Media) in 2007, he has been working as an independent web and graphic designer.
