Rose Kue

Rose Kue is a 20-something Creative Producer on the Music pathway, hoping to break down the barriers between music genres and growing audiences. With a BMusic from Juilliard and an extensive performance background, she has a keen interest in advocating the growth of the performing arts by investigating new business models for the industry. As the daughter of Vietnam War refugees, she is also honored to be the first person of Hmong heritage to pursue serious study in the Western art music tradition.

While at Goldsmiths, Rose will be working on some interesting projects, including the creation of a Hmong music company that will specialize in fostering and presenting the music of the Southeast Asian diasporas. She is intrigued by the things that connect us and believes that music, like knowledge, is meant to be shared.

She’d love to hear from you! You can check out her tweets @rosekue, her blog at http://kuesclues.wordpress.com and her CV at http://uk.linkedin.com/in/rosekue.
