Lene Bang Henningsen is a freelance arts producer and a cultural manager. She graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2008, with a Masters in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy. Lene is sa skilled networker and creative producer committed to explore, investigate and inspire artists she collaborates with, produces for and presents. Lene's vision of the arts is based on the notion of hospitality, deeply believing in exchange of ideas, knowledge and skills.

 

Lene's time at Goldsmiths led to an internship at the Royal Albert Hall, opening up to new perspectives. The daily discussions with fellow students created a deeper understanding of cultural landscape of different contexts. After four years living in London, Lene has now moved on to lead the Host, Geust, Ghost residency project in Copenhagen, whilst also managing the international touring of Norwegian dance company zero visibility corp.

 

Lene has been a driving force in the development of Goossun Art-illery and the international research project HamletZar (in partnership with Barbican, Dance Base, Odin Teatret etc).  In the coming years Lene will focus on organisational development of projects operating in an international context and stay passionate about creating fruitful meetings.
