Nahum graduated from Goldsmiths with an MA in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy with distinction in 2008. Whilst studying he undertook an internship at Shunt and was fortunate to be hired by the company after graduating.
The techno-scientific era, the intimacy of nature and science and the sublime of emotions are the main concern in Nahum’s work. As a musician he composes, and performs original music. He is a founding member of experimental London-based ensembles such as Orchestra Elastique and the Goldsmiths Electronic Orchestra. He has performed and exhibited in venues like the ICA London, Southbank Centre, Battersea Arts Centre, The Place and The Basement in Brighton amongst others.
Since 2010 he works as the Artistic Programme Manager at Shunt, curating their legendary venues in the London Bridge arches and in their latest space in Bermondsey Street. Nahum has programmed more than 900 artists to deliver weekly multiplatform experiences for weekly audiences of 3,000 people.
Additionally Nahum coordinates the technical committee for the cultural and artistic utilisations of space (ITACCUS) at the International Astronautical Federation in Paris. Here, he works promoting cultural policies in space agendas at an international level. In London he curates Kosmica, a monthly series of space and arts gatherings at The Arts Catalyst.
