Nancy (Dionysia) Galenianou was born in Crete, Greece. After she finished school, she decided to join the Mediterranean Studies department in the University of Aegean where she studied international relations and organizations. However, because of her love for the arts and her interest in organizing events, she traveled to London to study in Goldsmiths.
During her MA studies in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy, she gained a much wider and innovative perspective regarding management and the accomplishment of an art project.
The last seven years Nancy has worked in the arts sector. Her experience as an arts administrator varies in several kinds of events including multi-artistic festival, children’s theatre, art exhibitions, the Fringe Edinburgh Festival etc. Nancy is also working as a performer and occasionally as a choreographer, her goal is to properly combine business priorities of a project with the needs of the artists.
Recently, Nancy has been involved in organizing other kind of events as well, such as parties, weddings, award ceremonies and museum exhibitions. She is doing research in order to start her PhD degree where she will join her passion for the arts with her interest in foreign affairs.
