International Summer School

Our International Summer School gives you the opportunity to study at a world-renowned institution in one of the most creative, multicultural, and historically rich capital cities in the world for an entire month.

Primary page content

This Summer School is temporarily unavailable and, at present, we are not able to advice when it will next run.

For over 200 years, generations of students have been educated at Goldsmiths, going on to become Oscar winners, leading journalists, and award-winning designers and artists. This Summer School provides you with a unique opportunity to walk the same corridors as our famous alumni and experience our thought-provoking courses.

Our Summer School also offers a full schedule of activities and excursions in London, including a street art tour, and visits to the theatre, Houses of Parliament, and museums. We also offer trips around the UK, and a weekend out of the city.

Accommodation

When you join us for a summer school you are guaranteed campus accommodation as long as you apply by the deadline.

Food

Breakfast and lunch are served on campus at set times during the day. All dietary or religious food requirements can be catered for, as long as you tell us about them in advance.

Evening meals are largely served on campus, except during evening excursions or when restaurants are booked. You will have a few evenings free during your time with us, during which we provide food vouchers for the Sainsbury’s supermarket five minutes’ walk from student accommodation.

Transport

You are responsible for the cost of your flight to London. We will collect you from London Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 on the first day of the Summer School, unless you have to delay your arrival.

In the residential course fee, all of your transport-costs for scheduled activities will be included and we will give you an Oyster card to use for the duration of the summer school. This is a pre-paid card that can be used on all public transport in London: buses, London underground, trams, the DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail, Emirates Air Line, and River bus services in London zones 1-9.
