Australian community in London

There is a huge and vibrant community of Australians in London, with over 100,000 people living, working and studying there.

Australians find adjusting to London an easy transition, however if you are ever homesick you can visit the Redback Tavern in Acton, or pop into The Australia Shop in Covent Garden to buy Vegemite and Tim Tams. The Australian-themed pub chain Walkabout is very popular in London, too.

The Australian Times is a paper produced in London for Australians living in the UK and has plenty of information about community events.

South East London

Goldsmiths is located in New Cross, South East London, just 15 minutes to central London by train. Vibrant, urban and with great transport connections to Central London, it's an ideal base for experiencing and enjoying the capital. For more information please visit our Life in London, Campus Life and Experience South East London pages.
