Students from Peru are following a range of degree subjects at Goldsmiths, including Sociology, Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship, Media & Communications and Music.
Peruvian students are also eligible to join our study abroad programme - ‘Study in London’, which gives international students the opportunity to live, study and socialise with Goldsmiths’ undergraduate students for one or two terms, or the full academic year and transfer their credit back to their home university. You can also be admitted as a postgraduate student.

The Mary Trevelyan Fund is a hardship fund available to students from certain countries who have found themselves in unexpected financial difficulties during the final year of their studies in London.
The International Office team visits many countries across the world to take part in the British Council events, attend higher education events, deliver presentations, interview potential applicants and meet with local alumni.

London has a long-standing Peruvian community, with many organisations promoting Peruvian language, culture and lifestyle. There are an estimated 4,000 Peruvian-born people living in the UK – mostly based in London.
The Anglo-Peruvian Society organises talks at the Peruvian Embassy, Canning House and the Instituto Cervantes.The cultural branch of the Peruvian Embassy regularly organises exhibitions and cultural events at the Embassy.
There is only one Peruvian restaurant in London, Tito’s. However, there’s a Peruvian food stall in Camden Market and two more at Regent’s Place Market on Triton square, plus the Partridge’s Food Market near the Saatchi Gallery – the last two are run by Peruvian caterers Panka.
Several bands that play Peruvian music or that are made up of Peruvian musicians are based in London. The Lokandes Project fuses afro and Andean music while Kausary plays Latin-Andean fusion.

Whilst there is no true "barrio latino" in London in the way there is in Los Angeles, perhaps Seven Sisters market is the largest Latin American market in Britain. Saturdays are an ideal day to visit for a blast of Latin culture and food.
Latin American House is a registered Charity that aims to provide space and support for Latin Americans, Spanish and Portuguese speakers and local communities.
Latin American London provides information on fun, and free, things to do in the capital.
Goldsmiths is located in New Cross, South East London, just 15 minutes to central London by train. Vibrant, urban and with great transport connections to Central London, it's an ideal base for experiencing and enjoying the capital.
