Leti Volpp is a Professor of Law at the Boalt Hall School of Law, UC Berkeley. Her research areas include culture, migration, identity and citizenship. She is the author of the co-edited volume Legal Borderlands: Law and the Construction of American Borders (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2005)(with Mary Dudziak). Her other publications include The Citizen and the Terrorist, UCLA Law Review (2002), Feminism versus Multiculturalism, Columbia Law Review (2001) and (Mis)Identifying Culture: Asian Women and the "Cultural Defense," Harvard Women's Law Journal (1994).
